About Us
Florida Demands Representation (FDR) is a grassroots
organization formed to protect the voting rights of
Florida citizens. We are not affiliated with any political
organization. We received no funding from any
corporate, political, or special interest group. We are a
group of concerned voters who are outraged that our
civil liberties are being violated. We, as Florida voters,
must send a message to our elected officials that we will
no longer sit idle and allow our voting rights to be
abused and ignored. Any voter, regardless of party
affiliation, should be concerned. This is a civil liberties
issue, not a campaign or candidate issue.

important issues, please download our position

HOW WE BEGAN
March 8, 2008, a group of concerned voters got together
in Palm Harbor, FL and initiated a strategy to organize
a statewide petition drive. In less than two weeks we
received major coverage from the St Pete Times on our
effort.
HOW WE ARE FUNDED
Florida Demands Representation is currently
self-funded. We recognize the commitment of our
many volunteers who reach deep into their own pockets
to pay for the items needed to keep this effort moving
forward. Copies, clip boards, pens and gas; signs,
banners and more are donated through their creativity
and dedication to the cause of having the votes count.
But by far, the bulk of the expense is shouldered by
Founder and State Chair, James M. Hannagan.
FDR is not funded by any campaign, candidate, party or
organization. There are no paid staff. We are actively
seeking donations. If you want to know more or if you
would like to make a donation to help defray the costs
involved, please contact Jim directly or donate online.
Thank you for your interest and support.
